2008 will be far and away the most important election year in our history. The stakes are enormous this time around. Not just for us, but for our children and grandchildren.

We punish students, yet let governments in China, Russia, India and Brazil support the theft of our intellectual property without recourse
We can put a man on the moon, but we can't even find a rogue demogod hiding in a cave in Afghanistan
Two thirds of our adult population are overweight and our children are becoming more and more inactive and obese
North Korea and Pakistan have nuclear weapons already and their governments are fragile at best ... who's next?

Nowhere on this planet is there a people who care so much for their fellow man so as to sacrifice what we've sacrificed over the years. Nowhere on earth do people have the individual freedoms and liberties we have in this country. Nowhere on earth can a young woman and her husband raise a family and also become successful entrepreneurs to realize the American Dream ... win or lose. No country on earth spends more to help the sick and disadvantaged around the world.

What happened to our national pride?

Lets' get out there and work for those we think can make a real difference in the next few years. If everyone gets involved, I can almost guarantee you we can make a huge dent in some of these problems and get this country headed back in the right direction ... where it's the envy of the world ... and deservingly so ... and not simply the new scapegoat.
