The BRICS of Mass Destruction

"Mr. Presidents ... Tear down these walls!"

We use BRICS to construct walls in our society. Why? They are solid construction ... they don't cost all that much ... they are often difficult to scale ... and even harder to destroy. They allow people to hide behind them and who knows what takes place behind those walls. Once they are taken down, they are easily moved somewhere else to form yet another wall. The cycle is never-ending. The BRICS won't ever go away.

So maybe now you see why Wall Street now refers to a handful of emerging economies around the globe as "the BRICS of the future". Investments in these BRICS are off the charts. There's a BRIC frenzy going on in this country. And guess what?

Each investment into a BRIC has a negative impact on our economy of at least 4-5 times the original investment ... as well as a tear in our moral fiber, self-esteem, and innovative spirit that is close to becoming irreparable.

You see ... these BRICs don't follow our rules of fairness, entrepreneurial incentives, and fair play. They do not respect property rights. Whether those properties are physical or intellectual. They represent an economic threat the likes of which we have NEVER experienced in this country. And guess who's supporting the whole unethical and illegal scheme? Individual American investors, investment bankers, and high technology companies who are driven by greed and deception ... and nothing much else.

Some facts about BRICs:

1. BRICs is acronym for Brazil, Russia, India, and China (did someone say "booming"?).
2. Watch CNBC. These four countries are analyzed and praised, just about every single day.
3. Their economies are among the fastest growing on our planet.
4. Corruption runs rampant from the super-rich and top of the governments to the super-poor and hungry. And, sadly, the gap between these two extremes widens every single day.
5. A healthy percentage of this corruption involves the theft and illegal distribution of intellectual property (things like movies, songs, pictures, software, and the like).
6. The vast majority of these illegal acts take money right out of the pockets of hard working Americans who produce copyright-protected works (not media, software, and technology company billionaires, as some would lead you to believe).
7. Each of these countries have signed treaties and trade agreements swearing that they will not support such criminal activities in their land. They have noticed Americans are gullible.
8. Attorney General Gonzales would routinely visit some of these countries (most recently Brazil) and give speeches about how proud we were of their efforts to combat the rampant piracy in their streets. He would make up statistics to try and convince us that the administration's anti-piracy and fair trade policies were working according to plan. Just like Iraq, State Attorney Generals, the weapons of mass destruction, our healthcare system, Congressional cooperation, and other government programs I presume.

So what are we going to do?

Well, I have decided that my small graphic arts content development company may be able to help. How? By at least getting the truth about what is going on in these countries out in the open for public consumption and debate.

Perhaps the truth will make a difference ... or at least expose the self-serving hypocrisy being advanced by the investment and technology companies who gain from each dollar spent on new BRICs these days. In November, we will be introducing a new section of our web site at www.imageline2.com exclusively dedicated to the piracy activities we uncover in each of these the four founding members of this new BRIC fraternity ... Brazil, Russia, India, and China.

We'll ask tough questions, and we'll look for answers ... as well as possible solutions. We'll encourage interaction as we know many of you have better first hand knowledge of these activities than we do here in Central Virginia. We will not hold any punches.

We'll show you specific examples of flagrant piracy operations in action. Not just theory, twisted facts and statistics, or self-serving pie charts on the screens.

We're out to expose the BRICs to the extent their illegal activities have a negative impact on the average American citizen, not just on investors. We also would like to help educate the nice and honest people in each of these fine countries (and others), as well, if we can. We believe these illegal activities are sponsored by organized crime, corrupt government officials, and the so-called privileged upper class ... not the average citizen.

We'll try to explain our points simply and clearly, using plain English, not legalese or techno-garble. We hope others who care will help us translate these issues into the appropriate Chinese, Indian, Russian, and Portuguese native languages so that the message of hope and resolution can spread to all people we reference.

Thanks for listening.

** Stay tuned for our first "The BRICs of Mass Destruction" Report in early November. We will highlight Brazil, and our discovery of a network of web site publishers sponsored (subsidized) by Google and spreading pirated goods over the Internet faster than anything I have personally witnessed in my 25+ years in this business. Piracy is alive and well South of the Border. These facts will alarm you. They have a negative impact on ALL of us.
