“Over the past twenty-nine (29)
years, we have had the good fortune to be creative and
to develop many of the video, technology, and graphic
arts industry’s finest innovative software, video,
and electronic graphic arts content products and services.
As true pioneers always do, we have had many arrows stuck
in our backs over the years to reflect our history. Sadly,
we have spent as much time trying to protect our property
as we have developing new ideas, innovations, and useful
digital arts.
For the first time in over almost
thirty years, however, I see those in Washington truly
dedicated to protect the hard-earned property of the millions
of talented digital illustrators, designers, graphics
programmers, digitizers, cartoonists, photographers, and
animators in our society. Thank goodness we did not let
this true national treasure slip away!”
